Joyce L. Hauk

Joyce L. Hauk, 85, of Kingsport, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County and a homemaker. Joyce was a lifelong member of Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and had served as an elder. She was an avid traveler and Tennessee Walking Horse fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. Hauk; son, Roger A. Hauk; and two brothers, William E. Lamberth, Jr., and S.F. Lamberth.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Hauk and wife, Rita of Kingsport, and Michael L. Hauk and wife, Connie of Purvis, MS; four grandchildren, Doug Hauk and wife, Melissa, Becky Hauk, Patrick Hauk and Jenna Hauk; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Hauk, Caitlin Hauk and Isabella Price; daughter-in-law, Jennifer S. Hauk of Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Rev. Marshall Steinle and Dr. Ira Howard officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Doug Hauk, Patrick Hauk, Tyler Hauk, Ron Hauk and Paul Livingston. Honorary pallbearers will be the Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church Choir.
