James Robert Bradshaw

James “Jim” Bradshaw, 81, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, after an extended period of illness. Born in Hawkins County, he lived in Kingsport for 50 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Jim was a salesman for Purity Baking Company, Palace Vending and Terry’s Potato Chips. He was saved at a tent revival on the property of Jay and T. Winegar. Jim was a former deacon, treasurer, and adult Sunday school teacher at Liberty Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Mount Carmel, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dixie Bradshaw.

Jim is survived by his wife, Janet Hill Bradshaw; son, Joel Mark Bradshaw and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Lucas James, Isaac Joel, and Jaylee Annarose; sister, Elsie Rowland and husband Eddie; brother, Billy Bradshaw; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Elder Wally Berry officiating.

Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
