Tracey Ann Poole

Tracey Ann Poole, 54, of Kingsport passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following complications from an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. She was surrounded by her extended family at the time of her passing and is now with her Heavenly Father and family. Tracey was a giver both in life and in death. She was able to donate her organs giving life to others she did not know. "Praise God that she can glorify Him by giving to others" (Cousin Deb). She is our hero and is greatly missed. Tracey graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School, received degrees from Hiwassee College and Tri-Cities State Technical College.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Larry Poole and Patricia Winn Poole, and her brother, James Larry Poole II.

Tracey is survived by her sister, Barbara Poole Hearn (J. Tommy Hearn), nephews, James Larry Poole III (Amy Cathryn), John Lyle Poole, and Joshua Patrick Smith, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, Jacob Lyle Poole, James Liam Poole, Gemma Grace Poole, and Hannah Cathryn Gaunce.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center to the many doctors and staff of the Intensive Care Unit, as well as the staff of Holston Medical Group.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 pm on Wednesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Chris Bannock officiating.

Committal services will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family will serve as pallbearers.
