Agnes Marie Linkous Kinley, 87, of Kingsport passed on to be with her Lord on Friday, April 30, 2010 after several years of declining health.
Born and raised in Kingsport, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who lived and loved for her family. Agnes was one of the most caring and tender-hearted people you would ever want to meet and she will be missed.
Agnes was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Basil L. Kinley; father, Onzie Linkous; mother, Cornie Linkous King; daughter, Judy Carol Kinley; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Jo Ann Christian and husband Bill, Gail Hess and husband Ronnie; one son, Ron Kinley and wife Donna, all of Kingsport; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Wagner and husband George of Kingsport, and Betty Fleenor of Church Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Travis Pierson and Pastor Mike Stout officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
