Agnes Couch Williams, 83, passed away Wednesday evening, January 30, 2008, at Sky Lakes Medical Center, Klamath Falls, Oregon.
She was born in St. Paul, Virginia then resided in Gray, Tennessee before making Kingsport, Tennessee her home. Mrs. Williams was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She loved life and she loved to laugh. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and spending time outdoors.
Mrs. Williams was a faithful servant to our Lord Jesus Christ and now rests in peace with our creator. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Her husband, Cecil H. Williams; four brothers, Dule, Adam, Jack and Floyd Couch; and one sister, Freida Couch preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis Williams and companion Susan McKinney of Knoxville, Tennessee, Darryl Williams and wife Jackie of Kingsport; one daughter, Carolyn Teig and husband Dean of Tulelake, California; two sisters, Lozie Couch of Kingsport, and Cosby Cox of Castlewood, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Adam Williams of Kingsport, Ashley Williams Taylor of Kingsport, and Madison and Eric Teig of Tulelake, California.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Interment will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Roberts of Glenwood Baptist Church officiating.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Williams, Dennis Williams, Adam Williams, Justin Taylor, and Tony Frazier.
