Albert "Sonny" Beeler

Albert "Sonny" Beeler, 61, of Kingsport, died Monday, November 28, 2016. Born in Kingsport, where he resided all his life, Sonny was a 1972 graduate of Ketron High School. He had worked in the healthcare industry for over 40 years, most recently at Wellmont Health System where he was in information technology. Sonny enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time on his motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Don Beeler, and brother, Tony Beeler.

Sonny is survived by his wife, Jessica Troutman Beeler of Bluff City; 2 daughters, Christi Sexton and husband, Tim of Kingsport, and Jessica Dougherty of Kingsport; 4 grandchildren, Austin Thompson, Maddy Sexton, Catie Beeler and Lily Dougherty; 2 stepchildren, Jacenta Holtsclaw of Asheville, NC and Jacob Holtsclaw of Bluff City; sister, Jackie Davis and husband, Roger of Kingsport; sister-in-law, Margaret Beeler of Kingsport; and 4 nieces.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingpsort.
