Albert Vance Tittsworth

Albert Vance Tittsworth, 70, of Church Hill, Tennessee, entered into his heavenly life with Christ on July 30, 2013. He was surrounded by his loved ones where he was born, lived and died.

Vance, a well-known gardener in his community, shared his garden produce and knowledge of farming with friends and neighbors. He was also an avid fisherman. He retired from Mason & Dixon, Kingsport and from AFG, Greenland. Vance was a regular attendee at Ridgeview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Leann Tittsworth; parents, Will K. and Alice Jones Tittsworth; sister, Ernestine Grim; and brother, Buford Tittsworth.

Vance is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharron Bellamy Tittsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Bob Price; grandsons, Ethan Christian Price and Isaac Vance Price; granddaughter, Hannah Gayle Price; brother-in-law and lifelong friends, Hugh Bellamy and wife, Barbara; brothers-in-law, Lloyd Grim and wife, Ruby, and Anthony Bellamy and wife, Susie; special sister-in-law, Pamela B. Carpenter and husband, Clyde III; and special close nephew and friend, Michael Grim, with wife, Belinda and son, Carter. He is also survived by other special nieces and nephews and lots of cousins and friends he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends from 4-7:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 234 Hurd Road, Church Hill. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 7:00 pm with Pastor and friend, Jon Rogers officiating. Pallbearers will be Carter Byington, Clay Byington, Kory Carter, Hunter Clark, Zach Crawford, Aaron Hillman, Zane Hobbs and Michael Quillen.

The graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends wishing to attend can meet at the gravesite at 9:45 am.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Amedisys Hospice nurses, Sandra and Eleanor, for their sweet care over the past two weeks.

Those who choose may send donation in lieu of flower to Ridgeview Baptist Church Building Fund, 234 Hurd Road, Church Hill, TN 37642.
