Alberta ?Toots? Ratcliffe, 90, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Brookhaven Manor following a period of declining health.
Born in Abingdon, VA, she had resided most of her adult life in Kingsport. She was a member of Colonial Heights United Methodist Church and had previously been a member of Bakers Chapel Church in Abingdon, VA. Toots was a loving and gentle person and will be missed by her family.
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ratcliffe and a sister, Evelyn Harris preceded her in death.
Surviving are a sister, Doris Little and husband, Tom of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and caregiver, Arlena Bishop of Kingsport.
Calling hours are from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Seay and Rev. Angela Hardy Cross officiating.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
