Alexis Meade, 22, of Kingsport, died Tuesday morning, September 5, 2017, in Widener, Arkansas, after an automobile accident. Born in Kingsport, she was a 2013 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. Alexis was an assistant manager at 3 Minute Ultimate Shine Car Wash. She was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jaclyn Rain Meade and Serenity Kaydence Slemp, both of Kingsport; mother, Lois Baker and husband Steve of Blountville; father, Jeff Meade of Kingsport; two sisters, Montana Meade and Shawna Meade, both of Kingsport; maternal grandmother, Barbara Cothran of Kingsport; paternal grandmother, Kay Meade of Kingsport; special aunt, Susanne Dupree and husband, Michael; special cousins, Kayla Robinson and Damien Estep; and many cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Pastor David Salley officiating.
