Alice Ann Staten Booher

Alice Staten Booher, 82, of Fall Branch, passed away on Monday evening, December 14, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Greene County, TN. Mrs. Booher had retired from Magnavox Corporation with 42+ years of service. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Baileyton and is survived by a very loving and caring church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Booher; 4 sisters, Eunice Boggs Gearaldine Morelock, Charlotte Coleman and Polly Fulkerson; and 2 brothers, Rex Staten and Gene Staten.

Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Teresa Booher of Fall Branch; 2 grandsons, Uri Booher and fiancée, Maria Bible of Bristol,TN, and Kody and Ashley Booher of Jonesborough; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler Booher, Kaylee Booher, Jaxon Brobeck and Kade Bible; 2 sisters, Ruth Simpson of Fall Branch and Patsy Pierce of Baileyton; 2 sisters-in-law, Lochiel Staten of Johnson City, and Dorothy Booher of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and special niece and caregiver, Angie Hutsell of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12-2:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bob Simpson and Rev. Rick Bowser officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Friendship Baptist Church.
