Alice Elaine Stanley

Alice Elaine Stanley, 71, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2016. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Roy Stanley, Sr; mother, Mary Leningrad; and special granddaughter, Brandi Stanley.

Alice is survived by her sons, Jimmy R. Stanley, Jr., Gregory W. Stanley and wife, Suzanne, and Don L. Stanley; grandchildren, Jessica, Heather and husband, Charles Day, Matthew, Ashtyn; great-grandchildren, Lily Ratliffe, Averi Hinkle, and Kinley Day; brothers, Charles Brooks and wife, Laure, and Adrian Graham and wife, Janet; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Phyllis.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Dice and Rev. Doug Abbott officiating.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
