Allie Housewright Coeburn

Allie Housewright Coeburn, 85, of Kingsport, died early Monday morning, September 6, 2010, at Holston Manor.

Mrs. Coeburn was born in Kermit, Virginia, and lived most of her life in Kingsport. She was employed at local restaurants.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Straley Coeburn; and her parents, William and Easter Housewright.

Survivors include her son, Don Coeburn and wife, Linda, of Kingsport; granddaughter, Donna Freeman and husband, Jason, Church Hill; great-granddaughter, Jenna Freeman; four step-grandchildren, Earnest Pauley, Clarence Pauley, David Pauley, and Tina Spikes; three step-great-grandchildren, Lisa Pauley, Nikita Spikes, and Keiley White; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes in Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00, with Pastor Fred Freeman officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
