Alma Fleenor Sells

Alma M. Sells, 88, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord at 2:00 am on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Life Care Center of Gray following a brief stay. Alma was born in Sullivan County where she had lived her entire life. Mrs. Sells was a homemaker and member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Jesleen Fleenor; sons, Bobby Sells and Roy Sells; sister, Shirley Watson; and two brothers, Everette Fleenor and Ray Fleenor.

Alma is survived by her husband of 71 years, Everette Sells; daughter, Mrs. Judy Phillips and husband, Roger of Greeneville, TN; daughters-in-law, Judy Sells and Elaine Sells; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Life Care Center of Gray.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4-6:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm with Rev. Al South and Rev. Kenneth Kyker officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Beulah Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Denver Ford, Richard Hall, Tommy Sells, Cameron Sells, Brandon Sells and Danny Whitaker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Jessee, Matthew Phillips, Roy Garland, Alan Lipscomb, David Watson and Grady Fleenor.

Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made to Beulah Community Cemetery c/o George. R. Hall, 224 Begley St. Blountville, TN 37617.
