Alpha Frazier

Alpha Frazier, 92, of Kingsport, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born in Hawkins County, she had resided in Kingsport most of life. Alpha was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Frazier; and two sisters, Edith Robinette and Gladys Henderson.

Survivors include her sister, Thelma Vaughn and husband Paul J. of Kingsport; niece, Shirley Malone and husband Willard of Gray; and nephew, Sherman Vaughn and wife Sharon of Kingsport.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holston View Cemetery with Mike Campbell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport by 2 p.m. to go in procession.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
