Alvin Brown
Alvin Brown, 75, of Kingsport, passed away at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 5th at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Alvin was born in Maine and resided in Kingsport for a number of years. He was a former die caster and was an employee of Kroger for the past 4 years. Alvin was a Veteran of the Marine Corps.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Brown.
Alvin is survived by his wife, Janet E. Brown of the home; daughter Christine Rochester of MA.; son, Kevin Brown of CT.; stepson, John Addington, Jr., of Kingsport; five grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Brown and wife, Carole of Milo, ME., Lewis Brown of Brownville, ME., and Robert Brown and wife, Betty of FL.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be held at a later date in Maine.
