Amy Jo Neil

Amy Jo Neil, 43, of Kingsport, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008 after a brief illness.

Amy Jo was born and lived in Kingsport all her life. She graduated from Sullivan North High School and was employed by Niel Supply for several years.

She was a very loving and caring person who would reach out a loving hand to anyone who needed it. She was well loved by her family and friends.

Amy Jo was a member of Ketron Memorial United Methodist Church.

Her parents, William D. Niel and Joan C. Niel; and grandparents, Dan and Bea Coates, and Myrtle Neil preceded her in death.

She is survived by one brother, William Gary Neil; four nephews, Zachary Neil, Steffon Niel, Toby Neil, and Aaron Neil; one niece, Gracie Neil; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amy Jo leaves behind a large and loving family who will miss her dearly.

Calling hours are from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Aaron Pierce officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Mark Stapleton, John Blessing, Joey Coates, David Leedy, David Bortz, Dannie Coates, Keith Taylor, and Dan Taylor.

Honorary pallbearer will be Hershal Lawson.
