Andrea Greer Erwin

Andrea Greer Erwin, 55, of 1905 Patton Street, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 17, 2009.

She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and received her BS Degree in Business Management from Tusculum College.


Mrs. Erwin attended West View Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading and needlepoint and loved taking care of her family.

Preceding her in death were her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herrald and Marcia "Pady" Erwin.

Surviving are her husband, Toney Erwin; one daughter, Melanie Erwin Jones and husband Todd of Kingsport; three sons, Anthony Greyson Erwin, Joshua Lee Erwin, and Joseph Foster Erwin, all of Kingsport; four grandchildren, Ryan Alexander Erwin, Whitley Kate Jones, Skyler Greyson Erwin, and Jackson Todd Jones, all of Kingsport; her parents, Dallas "Buddy" and Dexal Greer of Kingsport; two sisters, Sharon Jordan and husband Francis of Pitkin, Louisiana and Colleen Frazier and husband Terry of Gate City, Virginia; sister-in-law, Melanie McAmis and husband Roger of Jonesborough, TN; brother-in-law, Mark Erwin and wife Karen of Goose Creek, SC; several nieces and nephews; and special aunts and uncles, Max and Bernice Epps, Bill and Jenny Washburn, Eunice and Mary Ruth Laster, Charlene Castle, Andrew and Jeorgia Greer, and Freda Greer.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. A memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Elder Burnice Sybert officiating.
