Anita J. Moles

Anita J. Moles, 70, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 27, 2018, at her residence following a period of declining health. Born in Kingsport on March 30, 1948, a daughter of the late James and Annabelle Moles, she has resided in this area her entire life. She retired from Holston Valley Medical Center in 2016, following 38 years of service. Anita was a faithful follower of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Moles, Jr., and Oran Moles.

Anita is survived by her four sisters, Kathryn Berkey and husband Lee of Stoutsville, Ohio, Charlotte Ray of Kingsport, Linda Shoemaker and husband C.L. of Kingsport, and Carol Forrest and husband Jessie of Gray; special cousin, Doug and Katherine Stephenson; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as Aunt Neno, who enjoyed spending time with her babies.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, with Pastor Scott Plyler officiating. Burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
