Ann R. Kilgore

Ann Kilgore,, 87, of Church Hill, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Ann enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family and friends. She attended Grassy Creek Freewill Baptist Church, and had retired from the Sullivan County School System, having worked at Bell Ridge School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Larkin and Mary Lawson Mabe, two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Cradic, of Church Hill; sons, Larry Davis and wife Janice, of Whitesburg, TN, and Roy Kilgore and wife Trish, of Church Hill; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Services will follow at 7:00p.m., with Rev. Robert Cooper and Rev. Charlie Frazier officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Grassy Creek Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
