Anna Nell Armstrong
Anna Nell Armstrong, 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Wexford House following a lengthy illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Sullivan County and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Armstrong.
She is survived by her son, Allen A. Armstrong and wife, Elizabeth Billman Armstrong; grandchildren, Andrew Allen Armstrong and Elizabeth Anne Armstrong; sister, Norma Ruth Sells; niece, Jeanne Holmes; nephews, Tommy and Dean Sells.
The family extends a special thank you to Janet Sells for all her special and loving care.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 27, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the chapel with Dr. Amos Lockhart officiating.
Entombment services will be on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Washington County Memory Gardens.
