Anna Mae Fair

Anna Mae Fair, 75, of Kingsport, passed away December 11, 2009, at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.

Born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, Anna resided in Kingsport the majority of her life. She was a faithful member of Morrison City Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Fair was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by those that loved her.

Preceding her in death are her father and mother, William Nelson Blanton and Susie Blanton; brothers, Jack Blanton, Donald Blanton; sister, Della Ruth Johnson; daughter, Betty Sue Douglas; and grandson, Ethan Starnes.

Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Elbert Fair; daughters, Dessa Ratliff, Donna Lunsford and special companion Dennis, Linda Glover and husband Lee, Reba Starnes and husband Gary; stepdaughters, Becky Fox, and Cathy Staton; son, Jeffrey Fair and wife Loria; sister, Lucille Cheatham and husband Ed; special grandchildren, Crystal, Carmen, Junior, Nikki, Vickie, Sissy, Tabatha, Drew and Tyler; special great-grandchildren; John, Anthony, Dylan, Alexis, Tyler, Kindle, Natasha, Riley, Ashton, Caleb and Zachary; special friend, Helen McCrackin who was always there when she needed her; and special pet that she loved so much, "Shiloh".

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Monday at Morrison City Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00pm at the church with Rev. Brian Capps officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shannon Dingus, Richard Quillen, Jeff Fair, Tommy McCrackin, Chris Creech, and Johnny Copas. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Morrison City Free Will Baptist Church.
