Anna Lee Coates Kolarsky, 86, of Fall Branch, was called home at 6:15pm Saturday, September 4, 2010, after a five and a half year courageous battle with cancer.
Anna was born in Fall Branch where she lived for most of her life. She was a sales representative for Avon for many years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was an avid reader.
Preceding her in death are her husbands, George W. Coates Sr. and Leo F. Kolarsky; son, George W. Coates; and daughter, Debbie Coates.
Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Welsh and husband Ron of Spring, TX, Donna Byington and husband Fred of Fall Branch, DeeDee Booher and husband Anthony of Blountville; two sons, Steve Kolarsky of Fall Branch, Mark Kolarsky and wife Lori of Fall Branch; fourteen grandchildren, Danielle Tipton, Theresa Ann Word, Malana Jobe, Jeff Welsh, Justin Welsh, Jenny Smith, Bryon Welsh, George Coates, Jason Coates, Tyler Kolarsky, Kaylee Kolarsky, Kanon Kolarsky, Chad Byington and Margaret Souder; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Sam Howard and special sister-in-law Pauline Howard of Fall Branch; special niece and nephew, Bobbie Rhoton and Charlie Howard; and lifelong friends, Hattie and Randy Settle.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch or anytime at the home of her daughter, Donna Byington, 19525 Horton Highway, Fall Branch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00pm at the funeral home, with Bishop John Morehead officiating and Brent Sturm and Ronald Welsh assisting.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00am at Howard Cemetery with Rev. Paul Ragon officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff, station two, at Life Care Center of Gray, to Donna Pinson, and to great-grandson J.T. Cox.
