Anna Rae Seale

Anna Rae Hughes Seale passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. She was born November 27, 1929 in Clintwood, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Yates Hughes, and by her father, McKinley Hughes, sisters Thelma Dotson, Lois Jean Choate, and Ernestine Keller, and by her brothers, Hubert and Carl Hughes.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert J. Seale, sons and daughter-in-laws -Bobby and Charleen Seale, and Dr. David and Gayla Seale, grandchildren Robert, MaryAnn, Pamela, John, Jackson of Kingsport, and Anthony, Amanda, and Laura of Knoxville, and many nieces and nephews.
Her 8 grandchildren were the loves of her life.
She was an active member of Mafair United Methodist Church for 56 years.

The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral Services will follow in the chapel with Rev. Ralph Kidd officiating. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at East Lawn Memorial Park, Kingsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mafair United Methodist Church, 1409 E. Center St, Kingsport, TN 37664 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
