Annett Christian

Annett Christian, Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 8, 2008 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was a lifelong resident of Kingsport and attended Hillcrest Bible Mission Church. Mrs. Christian was a former employee of Appalachian Orthopedic Associates.

Her mother, Bobbie Barrett preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband, Mark Christian, Kingsport; two sons, Shane Christian and Jerrod Christian, both of Kingsport; father and stepmother, J. J. and Nell Barrett, Kingsport; two sisters, Ursula Kay Spalding and husband Steve, Iron Station, NC and Jessica Tina Wilson, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday with Pastor David Castle officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Double Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
