Anthony "Tony" Vaughn

Tony Vaughn, 51, Zebulon, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his home in Zebulon, NC.

He was born October 2, 1961 in Kingsport and moved to North Carolina in 1984.

Tony enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved to talk on his CB radio.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Emery and Bernice Vaughn and maternal grandparents, Kermel and Vonda Miller.

Tony is survived by his wife, Jennifer Vaughn of Kingsport; three children, Joshua Vaughn of Zebulon, NC, Tiffany Vaughn and Trinity Absher, both of Kingsport; his parents, Fred and June Vaughn, North Carolina; sister, Darlene Baker and husband Tim, North Carolina; brother, Jeff Vaughn, North Carolina; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Randy Perciful officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
