Arbadella Poodle Brooks

Arbadella "Poodle" Brooks, 77, Kingsport, died at 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Wexford House. Poodle was a lifelong resident of the Rock Springs Community and was a graduate of Sullivan High School. She was a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Julian Brooks on November 22, 2015; brothers, Bert, Ben and Hub Galloway; and sisters, Wanda Wilson and Martha Hite.

Poodle is survived by her son, Rusty Brooks and wife, Helen of Kingsport; grandson, Seth Brooks, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm on Monday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. The service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor Buddy Butler officiating.

Burial will follow at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Poodle's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
