Archie Jackson

Archie Jackson, 80, Chuckey Pine Grove Community, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at his home. He attended Pyburn Freewill Baptist Church. Archie was a retired construction worker and bus driver with the Greene County School System. He will be greatly missed. Archie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and a dear brother in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ty Eugene Jackson; parents, Sam and Rhoda Jackson; two brothers; and five sisters.

Archie is survived by his wife, Ruby Jackson of the home; daughter, Polly Malone and husband, Buster of Greeneville; three sons, Randy Jackson and wife, Sharon of Afton, Bo Jackson and wife, Sandra of Chuckey, and Scott Jackson of Greeneville; seven grandchildren, Chanc Jackson and wife, Susan, Shandra Jackson, Peyton "Taw" Jackson, Olivia Davis, Jonathan Malone, Tracy Jackson and Dylan Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Joe Davis, Caitlin Malone and Maddox Jackson; and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 7th from 1-3:00 pm at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Barry Reed and Rev. Lester Morelock officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Greeneville. Pallbearers will be Chanc Jackson, Peyton "Taw" Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Joe Davis, Jonathan Malone, Josh Bright, Randy Jackson and Scott Jackson.
