Argeline "Arge" Conkin

Argeline Conkin, born September 24, 1936, was reunited with her loving husband and son on Monday, September 11, 2017. She passed peacefully with her family at her side. Arge was a homemaker and she loved fishing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Conkin; son, Kyle R. Conkin; and mother, Daisy Opal Cole.

Arge is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann Dishner and husband, Rick of Mt. Carmel, and Wanda Marie Willis of Kingsport; sons, Glynn (Butch) Conkin and wife, Patti of Church Hill, Coy Conkin and wife, Debbie of Kingsport, and Wayne Conkin and wife, Kim of Kingsport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Madge Dowell of Kingsport, Clara Myers of Kingsport, Inez Peery and husband, Randy of Alexandria, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5-9:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Church Hill Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
