Arlene Kaye Gollie

Arlene Kaye Gollie, 62, formerly of Coeburn, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2016. She graduated from Coeburn High School in 1971 and Berea College in 1975. Arlene retired from the federal government after thirty years and returned home to be with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Gollie.

Arlene was a twin sister to Colene (Mike) Conover; a sister to Sheila (Daniel) Davis, and Wayne (Audrey) Gollie; Nana to Dr. Josh and Wendi Davis, and Emma and Andrew Davis; aunt to Garvin Gollie, Nicki Wiggins and Michelle Duncan; and great-aunt to several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by uncle James (Wanda) Manicure and aunt Dr. Alice Manicure, and several loving cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Kenneth Peterson officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cloud's Bend United Methodist Church, 940 Bradbury St., Kingsport, TN 37660.
