Audrey Goins

Audrey Goins, 87, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 15, 2012.

She was born in Warr, West Virginia and moved to Kingsport after she was married.
Audrey worked for 28 years for the Sears Catalog Dept., retiring in 1988 and then worked for the Daily News until the age of 84.

Audrey loved to play bingo, cards and loved to spend time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Max Goins, Sr.; son, Max Goins, Jr.; parents, Doc and Edna Ray; and her sister, Pauline White Thompson.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina Morrison of Kingsport and Patricia Martinez of New Jersey; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-granddaughter; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Father Mike Nolan officiating.

Audrey's love and wisdom will live through us for a lifetime.
