B. Ruth Miller
B. Ruth Miller, 73, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord she loved Monday, December 10, 2007, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She served several years with the Fidelis Sunday School Class and served with great love the children of the nursery at Colonial Heights United Methodist Church.
Ruth was a loving wife and mother who placed her family first.
She will be sorely missed by her husband, Ray Miller; two daughters, Susan Powell and husband, Ed, Swansea, Illinois, Karen Ruble and husband, Mike, Memphis, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Rosa Ruble; one sister, Joann Hogue and husband, Charles, Portersville, PA; one brother, Peter Christophe, Portersville, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Tom Seay and Rev. Angela Hardy-Cross officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Colonial Heights United Methodist Church, 631 Lebanon Road, P. O. Box 6027, Kingsport, TN 37663.
