Barbara Bishop
Barbara Ann Bishop, 61, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009. She was a member of Tickfaw Baptist Church and a retiree from the federal government, having worked for 25 years for the Pentagon as a computer programmer.
She is survived by three sisters, Rachel Cadoret and husband Archie, Betty Jean Willoughby, and Louise Anthony; two nieces, Lori Willoughby and Debie Willoughby; four nephews and their spouses; Donald and Rebecca Bankston-Willoughby, Mark and Eileen Martinez-Willoughby, Dale and Wendy Hast-Anthony, and Justin and Amber Leblanc-Anthony. Barbara is also survived by numerous adoring great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding Barbara in death were her parents, Leonard and Lois Hicks-Bishop.
The funeral service will be held at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at noon.
