Barbara Ellen Bradley, 75, of Kingsport, went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Brookhaven Manor following a lengthy illness.
She was born in St. Paul, Virginia and had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Barbara was a loving mother, Mamaw and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bradley; one grandson, Brian Matthew Bradley; great-grandson, Elijah Colton Moore; parents, Arnold and Gladys Huff; brothers, Rev. Neal Huff and Glen Huff; sister, Joyce Trusty; two brothers-in-law, Glen Cole and William Brummitt; and sister-in-law, Barbara Brummitt.
Survivors include her daughter, Shannon Barr and husband Steve of Knoxville; four sons, James Bradley, Ronnie Bradley and wife Barbara, Bill Bradley, and Michael Bradley and wife Missy, all of Kingsport; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Elkins and husband Kenneth of Nashville; brother, Kenneth Huff of Kingsport; brother-in-law, Robert Cole and wife Nancy of Kingsport; special nieces, Shelby Richards and Kristie Richards; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A special thank you is extended to Brookhaven Manor and Amedisys Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Robert Cole officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Bradley, David Bradley, Patrick Barr, Joshua Bradley, Ryan Bradley, and Steve Barr.
