Barbara Finch

Barbara Finch, age 93, of Kingsport, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Baysmont House, Asbury Place in Kingsport. A native of Owosso, Michigan, she graduated from Cleary College. She came to Kingsport in November 1950. Barbara was a member of Waverly Road Presbyterian Church and performed many volunteer activities. She was a former Secretary of the Hospital Auxiliary. She had been President of the Women's Symphony Orchestra, Delphians, Laurel Garden Club and belonged to many other volunteer organizations and clubs. Barbara had been Secretary of Kiwanis Club for 29 years and retired in November 1999. She enjoyed playing with the Marathon Bridge group.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, G. Kirk Finch; her parents, Ethel and Harry Schultz; and two brothers, Lloyd and Carl Schultz.

Surviving are 3 sons, Kirk Finch II of Kingsport (wife Lola), Robert M. Finch of Williamsburg, VA, and Chris R. Finch of Cary, NC (wife Charlotte); daughter, Pamela Dornsife of Casa Grande, AZ (husband Roy); 6 grandchildren, Nicholas, Alison, Kristen, Brandon, Robbie and Ian; and 3 great-grandchildren, Lucy, Daniel and Finley.

A memorial service will be held at Waverly Road Presbyterian Church (WRPC) at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2018.
