Barbara Jean Musser, 72, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Raymond Randolph Bingham and Bessie Jane Reynolds. Barbara was a graduate of South High School and retired from the Sullivan County School System as a teacher’s aide. She was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church and liked to crochet.
Mrs. Musser was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ricky Lee; and daughter-in-law, Tammy.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, William B. Musser; children, Richard (Lisa) Musser, Matthew (Angela) Musser, Joseph (Amanda) Musser, and Eric (Karen) Musser; grandchildren, Felicia, Alan, Deven, Kayleigh, Bryson, Olivia and Aiden; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Liam (on the way); and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 7pm with Pastor Dewey Shaffer and Bro. Joe Trent officiating.
A graveside service will be held at 12pm, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Hamlett-Dobson Memorial Park in Blountville, Garden of Prayer.
Pallbearers will be family.
