Barbara L. Page

Barbara L. Page, 69, of Kingsport, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at her home. She was born in Ben Hur, VA and had resided in Kingsport most of her life. Barbara had worked at several floral shops in the area, including White Floral. She had retired from Wal-Mart after 18 years of service. Barbara was active in the Lynn Garden Community where she served on the PTA and Optimist Club and coached Girl's Optimist Club softball. She was a member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Rebecca Terry; sisters, Frances Owens, and Betty Massengill and husband, Jack; brothers, Arthur Tip Terry and Charles Ellis Terry; and nephew, Terry Owens.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Carmen DeVault and husband, Gary of Crossville, TN; son, Kevin Page and wife, Trina of Raleigh, NC; grandson, Ben DeVault; sister, Jean Bartley and husband, Marvin of Ben Hur, VA; former husband and father of her children, Mack Page; nieces and nephews, Susan Widner, Rob Widner, Mark Massengill and wife, Donna, Johnny Bartley, Dennis Owens, Chris Terry, Mike Terry; and special friends, Delana Summers and Emily Horton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 28th from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Phil Whittemore officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Mark Massengill, Logan Massengill, Rob Widner, Gary DeVault, Ben DeVault and Bob DeVault.
