Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara Ann Smith of Gibsonia, PA, Deerfield Beach, FL, and most recently Kingsport, TN, passed away Friday October 18th at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in July 16, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Fausel and Jessie Edsall Fausel (McMickle). She was a graduate of Lasalle Junior College in Auburndale, Massachusetts, and attended The Institute of European Studies in Vienna, Austria. Mrs. Smith was an office manager for five Plastic Surgeons for 33 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, dancing, and singing and was a master level bridge player. She attended mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Kingsport.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bonner Warren in 1965 and second husband Richard A. Smith in 2012.
Surviving are her two sons, Kevin E. Warren and his wife Stephanie of Auburndale, Florida; and Michael D. Warren and his wife Lucretia of Deerfield Beach, Florida; two daughters, Kathleen M. Carlton and her husband James of Piney Flats, Tennessee; and Meg A. Foster and her husband Daniel of Kingsport, TN; adopted son, Brian Nelson and his wife Enza of Naples, Florida; seven step sons, Richard A Smith Jr. and his wife Loretta, of Redondo Beach, California; Patrick M. Smith and his wife, Rita Marie, of New Cumberland, Pennsylvania; Gary E. Smith of Huntingtown, Maryland; David J. Smith and his wife Jamie, of Valencia, Pennsylvania; Kevin T. Smith and his wife Sonya of Morganton, West Virginia; Stephen F. Smith and his wife Lydia of Valencia, Pennsylvania, and Mark V. Smith and his wife Teddi, of Flatwood, Kentucky; two step daughters, Dr. Kathleen Mizik and her husband Ted, of Irwin, Pennsylvania; and Rosemary Natale and her husband Ralph of Baden, Pennsylvania; thirty-three grandchildren, and eleven and a half great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald E. Fausel and his wife Eunice; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be Saturday October 26, 2013 at 8:30AM at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Butler, Pennsylvania. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 o'clock following visitation. The internment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Coylesville, Pennsylvania.
