Barbara Stroud

Barbara Stroud, 80, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Greeneville, she had resided in Kingsport for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. Stroud; son, Walter Stroud, Jr.; her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kim Stroud; one sister, Winona Buckles; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, with Rev. Michelle McKinnon-Young officiating.

The graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jim Roller, Joe McGuiness, Marty Swartz, Chris Cox, Sam Buckles and Steve Buckles.
