Bea Light, 86, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2007 at Indian Path Medical Center following a brief illness. Bea was retired from J. P. Stevens.
Her husband, Clarence Light; three brothers; and three sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sisters, Lucille Cornette and husband, Ernest, Highland Heights, KY, Ova Riner and husband, William, Wise, VA, and Reda Brown and husband, Bob, Front Royal, VA; one brother, David Yates and Faye Yates, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Services will follow at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Lindsey Cornette officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Fall Branch Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Monday.
