Belva Marie Galloway

Belva Marie Galloway, 87, of Hillsborough, NC, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. It will never be the same without her, her beautiful smile and laugh. She always wanted to do things for others and was never concerned with herself. Belva was always a happy and cheerful person. She will truly be missed and for her family, life will not be the same. Belva would always say "Bless Your Heart."

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her son, Melvin.

Belva is survived by her children, Brenda Fox of Erin, TN, James Galloway, Jr. of Hillsborough, NC, June Evans of Woodlawn, TN, Sara Childers of Ft. Benning, GA, and Betty Gordon of Clarksville, TN; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Rev. Wayne Baker officiating . Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery.
