Benito D. "Toby" Odom

Benito D. Odom, 78, Mt. Carmel, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2015. Toby served in the U.S. Army and was a barber for over 50 years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist church. Toby was a very loving and caring father and grandfather and a friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Mildred Odom, and brother, Fernando C. Odom.

Toby is survived by daughters, Sherri Wells and husband, Tim, and Pam Cutright; grandchildren, Chasity Wells, Jaiden Cutright, and Hunter Robinson; brother, Brazilla Odom; and very special nieces, Teri Block and Marla Odom.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Ed Medlin officiating military rites by American Legion Posts 3/265.

In lieu of flower memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion, P.O. Box 66, Kingsport, TN 37662.
