Bertha Mae Goad Conkin, 81, of Kingsport, passed away Tuesday, December 5th, 2017.
Born in Sullivan County she attended Sullivan High School. She retired from Sears in 1991 after 26 years of service as a soft line manager.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Onnie Conkin; son, Gary Conkin; and parents, Wayne and Ollie Barrett Goad.
She is survived by her grandson, Christopher Grant Conkin and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11am Saturday at the Mowell Cemetery, Lonestar Rd. with Brother Pete Smith officiating.
