Betty Ann Gray

Betty Ann Gray, 79, of the Harmony Community, went to the Lord and her sweetheart, George, on Saturday, April 9, 2016. She was a lifelong member of Harmony Baptist Church where she served in various activities and committees through the years, but especially enjoyed making apple butter. Betty and George farmed their entire lives. She enjoyed fishing and camping, but mostly working in her yard and garden.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, George L. Gray, Sr., parents, Leona and Charles Beaman, and sister-in-law, Carolyn Beaman.

Betty is survived by her son, George L. Gray, Jr. and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Tonya Gray, Lindsey Harris and husband, Justin, Landon Gray and wife, Brooke, Jessica Gray and Hillary Gray; great-grandchildren, Connor Gray, Kylee Gray, Addalyn Harris and Jase Harris; sisters, Jean Akers and Etta Dalton and husband, Ronnie; brother, Charles Beaman, Jr.; and son, David Gray.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10th, from 5-7:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church or at any time at the home of George Gray, Jr. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Steve Pate officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Monday, the April 11th at 12:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
