Betty Crenshaw
Betty Hagan Crenshaw, 83, of Kingsport, formerly of Knoxville passed away Friday, February 29, 2008. She was born on August 18, 1924 in Paris, TN and lived most of her adult life as a wife, mother, and artist in Knoxville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Crenshaw.
Surviving are her daughters, Susan Poteat and husband Gary of Atlanta, Barbara McLaughlin and husband Randy of Kingsport; grandchildren, Brian, Rebecca, and Amy McLaughlin; and great-granddaughter, Hannah Pippin.
Mrs. Crenshaw's request was to be cremated. The family will have a private memorial service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer Association, 2200 Sutherland Avenue, Suite H102, Knoxville, TN 37919.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Asbury system at Steadman Hill and the Health Center at Baysmont for their devoted care.
