Betty J. Parsons, formerly of Fall Branch, Tennessee, died on December 4, 2018 in Nashville. She was ninety-one years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry P. Parsons Jr.; parents, Fitzhugh Lee and Ella Mae Feagins; sister, Helen Marie Feagins; son, Mark Alan Parsons; and niece, Gypsy Ray.
Betty is survived by her son, Michael Lee Parsons (Cathy); grandchildren, T. Harry Parsons (Robbie) and Georgia A. Quiles (Francisco); great-grandchildren, Finn David Parsons and Beau Miller Parsons; sister, Nana Hughes; nephews, Craig Hughes, Jeffrey Brockman, Scott Parsons and Greg Parsons; and niece, Cindy Rogan.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greeneville, TN.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to Glen Alpine United Methodist Church, 3200 Glen Alpine Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660, or to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeast Tennessee, 2020 Meadowview Parkway #100, Kingsport, TN 37660.
