Betty Imogene Ketron, 80, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012, after an extended bout with Alzheimer's.
Ms. Ketron, a retired coder from Holston Valley Hospital, made Kingsport her life-long home before moving to Lexington, TN, to be with her son and his family. Ms. Ketron was an active member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church for 50 years.
Survivors include her son, Charles Ketron and wife, Gail; three grandsons, Cory Ketron and wife, Sasha, Andrew Ketron, and Micah Ketron and wife, Kristin; and one great-grandson, Kaiden.
Her family says "Her life was a sweet Christian testimony. She will be missed but we rejoice knowing that she is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ".
Visitation for Ms. Ketron will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday February 13, 2012 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow the visitation with Pastor Joe W. Byrd officiating.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Oak Hill Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012.
