Today we celebrate the life of Betty Lou Skeen who was born on October 12, 1939 and passed on September 13, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Skeen, Sr., and son, William Skeen, Jr.
Betty is survived by her children, Duane Yonts, James Cordell, Jr., Zoeann Kennedy, Diana Rhoton, Donna Cordell, Bill Webb, Vernon Skeen, and Mary Skeen; 27 grandkids, Chelsea, Cody, Brandon, D.J., Tristan, Jaime, James, Joey, Jesse, Sarah, Eli, Jackie, Candice, Lil' Roger, Rachel, Bobby, Shawn, Victoria, Britney, Landon, Christopher, Mycalea, Zoe, Eli, Hunter, and Abel; 28 great-grandkids, Devon, Chase, Brad, Hunter, Rorie, Rylee, Lily, Gabriel, Stella, Peyton, Brayden, Cason, Raelyn, Cheyanne, Ethan, Tiffany, Haylee, Brylee, Vanessa, Robert II, Thomas, Shawn, Kaylee, Maddie, Till, Cameron, Kyler and Aary ; and 2 great-great-grandkids, Mason and Miguel.
Her celebration of life will be officiated by Rev. Jackie Flanary on Friday, September 15th at Arnold's Chapel, 2205 Jett Road, Kingsport, TN 37660. Viewing will be from 6-8:00 pm with the service to follow at 8:00 pm.
