Betty J. Price, 71, of Limestone, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Johnson City Medical Center. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, who always loved children and had a deep appreciation for her friends in the community. She will be deeply missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mandy and Nathan Buckner, and an infant son, Jimmy L. Price.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Warren Price; a daughter, Robin Price and friend, Julian Crews; a son, James "Dink" Price; grandsons, Samuel and Jamie Huffman; a sister, Barbara Buckner; a brother, William Buckner; nieces, Laura, Misty, and Lola Buckner; and special friends, Mary Lou Hays and Brenda Malone.
A memorial service will be held at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Byrl Fann officiating, with visitation following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
