Betty Ruth Thacker, 89, St. Louis, MO, formerly of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Harvey Thacker; son, Dennis Thacker; and many siblings.
Betty is survived by her son, Randall Harvey Thacker; grandchildren, Brenda, Joe, and Morgan Thacker; and her sister, Vivian Cox.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. till 12 noon on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 12 noon.
Burial will follow at Gunnings Cemetery.
