Betty D. Strickler
Betty D. Strickler, age 77, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at her home. Betty was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Strickler; her parents, Rufus and Hazel Crawford; sisters, Hulen Fields and Emogene Adams; and brother, James G. Crawford.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Vicki Moore Cody; two grandchildren, Priscilla Mixon and Christina Lawson; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Lawson, Amber Lawson, Geran Mixon and Ethan Mixon.
A graveside service was held at Oak Hill Memorial Park on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 am.
The family would like to thank caregivers from Amedisys Home Healthcare and Hospice and also caregivers at Holston Manor.
